Avalon - with its romantic, fairytale overtones – began life as the headquarters for New Zealand’s national television broadcaster.

It was purpose-built in the seventies, and since then has been extensively upgraded. Today it boasts the country’s largest ‘live’ studio – familiar to local television audiences as the home of Dancing with the Stars – with a fully HD-capable digital control room.
